48 Hours in Prague

48 Hours in Prague

Prague is a very modern city split into Old Town and New Town, so you are able to get the best of both worlds with plenty of history and modernity to explore. We recommend staying in an AirBnB, we had such a blast and it made it easier to immerse ourselves in the local experience.  From sightseeing to hidden gems, it's worth spending 48 hours to find out what makes this city unique.

Saturday

Try Trdelnik [ˈtr̩dɛlɲiːk] the Czech version of the chimney cake that is popular within the Eastern European region. Made from rolled dough and sprinkled with sugar, we saw that some people had theirs filled with ice-cream and Nutella.

Visit Charles Bridge, the most famous bridge in Czech Republic with a rich history. Also has a breath taking view of Prague Castle, which is why it's clogged with tourists.

Visit the John Lennon Wall monument and take some lit IG pictures. Definitely a must-see.

Sunday

Visit Old Town - Wenceslas Square

Visit the Prague Astronomical Clock, first installed in 1410 it is the 3rd oldest astronomical clock in the world and it is still functioning.

Visit the Prague Castle which also is the residence of the Czech President and situated at the top of the Petrin Hill it provides a wonderful view of the whole of Prague. TIP: It's a steep walk and shops are extortionately priced on the hill. Purchase water, snacks etc. before you start your ascent.

FUN FACT: There are 53 vegan restaurants within a five-mile radius in Prague and most of them are located within 2 miles of each other.

Hope you get to visit Prague soon, Live Bold and Live Bougie XXX
