10 Things to do in Dubai

10 Things to do in Dubai

SAFARI DESERT

Travel to the red dunes of the Dubai desert on a thrilling safari that will make you hold onto your seat. Packages are available that include sand boarding, traditional live entertainment, a delicious BBQ dinner and a camel ride. You can also admire the sunset and have the experience of wearing their traditional clothing.

WATCH THE SUNSET

Jumeirah Open Beach also known as sunset beach, has the best view of Burj Al Arab Hotel especially during evening when they put on a vibrant light show. There is also free WIFI…yay!

   DOLPHINS

Visit Atlantis to swim with dolphins at Dolphin Bay.  When you have finished spending time with the dolphins, you can then spend your entire day splashing away at Aquaventure Water park. If you’re not too exhausted after the water park you can then go exploring in The Lost Chambers Aquarium.

DUBAI MIRACLE GARDEN

We would definitely suggest to visit Dubai Miracle Garden, this magical place is a flower garden full of more than 500,00 fresh flowers and living plants in different life-sized sculpture.

AUTHENTIC MARKETS IN DUBAI

If you would like to see culture and experience traditional shopping markets in Dubai, then head to The Gold Souk. The Gold Souk of Dubai is very popular, there are great bargains on gold in UAE, spices and authentic foods and clothing.

BURJ AL ARAB

Burj Al Arab is a high end 5 – star hotel. This hotel is situated on its own island overseeing panoramic views. You can experience afternoon tea or dinner, if you are not staying there but still would like to experience fine dining. We would suggest to book in advance as this location is very popular.

BURJ KHALIFA

Reaching over 2,716.5 feet, Burj Khalifa is recognised as the tallest building on earth.  It is located at the Dubai Mall which is the largest mall in the world. You can purchase tickets in advance to the observatory on the top floors. Best time to go is at sunset - however be warned this is a peak period so it will be a bit more expensive and a bit more crowded than at other times.

VISIT THE MALL OF THE EMIRATES

Shopaholic? Well you will love this shopping mall. The Mall of the Emirates is quite a good spot to hang out with friends and family. They have everything from cinemas to good restaurants to almost anything just name it. It is also connected to the metro and isn't much of a long walk.

VISIT A MOSQUE

There are simply two reasons why it is worth making a visit to Sheikh Zayed Mosque which is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. This mosque is the epitome of beauty and Jumeirah Mosque in Dubai.  A gateway to peaceful surroundings and a chance to explore religious and cultural life. Visiting mosques in Dubai are the best ways to learn deeply about the Islamic traditions and to admire the astounding architecture.

BEACHES

The JBR Beach has a very chilled vibe consisting of white sandy beaches with no waves. There are playgrounds for young and old plus on the water side there is a wide footpath edged in restaurants and shops.

There are no bars, you won’t be able to get an alcoholic drink as Dubai has very strict laws around public alcoholic consumption. Not to worry, they do some very creative mocktails, smoothies and yummy dessert places to explore!
